Stinging and bleeding from hemorrhoid not going away

I've had hemorrhoid's on and off for a couple of years.

With the hemorrhoid's come the bleeding and severe pain.

In the past, I've taken antibiotics and it cleared them up right away.

This time it flared up, I tried doing everything naturally (with no antibiotics).

It's been about a week and a half and the hemorrhoid is still there. What's more the bleeding and stinging pain is still there.

Just when I think the pain and bleeding goes away, it'll come back moderately. I'll be fine for about a day. And then next day, i'll have a bowel movement in the evening and the stinging/bleeding will come back.

Is starving myself the only way? The bleeding/stinging pain won't go away completely.

Hi MrJoe, I'm sorry you are going through that painful ordeal. I assume you have used all the common OTC medications, right? Have you seen a doctor about this problem... ?? If not, I think you should... a lot of people hesitate because they find it 'too embarrassing' but are glad when they finally got up the gumption to go to one! :)
I know of several people who have been healed because they saw the dr and took Rx medication...together with ointments AND given advice as to what to eat and what to avoid. You deserve to be out of pain...so maybe you might consider this? Best of luck to you!!
