Been having a lot of GI symptomology daily for 6 months.
I'm anxious with brain fog and fatigue and just feel terrible. My GI symptoms were acute. One day I woke up with severe stomach pain and as if I had a 9V battery in my mouth and was burping and farting like mad (no history prior). The pain has since subsided
GI symptoms include:
Bitter/sweet taste in mouth (although this has improved)
burping (although this has somewhat improved)
Increase in gas (lots of flatulence...no odor).
Increased bowel movements (formed...appear normal)
gurgling colon/lower right side. It is a gurgle machine
Traces of mucus on stool (have to look pretty hard to see it)
Particles/skins always when wiping (can't attribute this to diet)
Burning back and legs (not really GI symptom)
Tests I've had:
CBC/tons of bloodwork
Lyme
endoscopy
h pylori
full ultrasound
triple contrast CT scan
regular CT scan
MRI
stool samples
nuclear imaging
My Gi (who I like and is well respected here) told me that we could do a colonoscopy, but that we wouldn't find anything based on my symptoms and the tests performed...particularly the triple contrast CT. Just wondering if people would push for it.
I feel like death. Minimal pain though. Grateful for that. Everyone keeps telling me I'm healthy and it is driving me mad.
