Sorry it took so long to reply. The meds are doing really well, at first I was only on .5 MG twice a day and after the first month I was doing the normal BM for a few days followed by a day of return of diarea (this was still really good because of the 4 years of having all day/everyday) When I went back he raised it to 1MG twice a day and also putt me on welchol (this has failed to work in past) other than a day or so a month when I get stomach craps (might take a lortab, average 4-6 a month) this med has been a true life saver, I have tried so many things over the years and at times it being so bad I think I took 10 Amodiums in a day. If you have not ever tried this, and still cant get the IBS-D under control, I would say to for sure find the dock that can give it out. I believe only a few docs can even precribe it. Because on the first try it had to be an original script
and the thing had a special sticker on it that said my doc was a member of the Lotrinex ??? group, also had to sign a long waiver stating the risk of colitis. For most there is zero problem with this drug, and it is the bomb!!!
