been offered operation to cure ibs, help!!!

OK so long story short, gallbladder removed, after this I got bile acid malabsorption, and I'm as my specilaist says bordering into chrons atm and he's expecting it to progress. But yes as title says, was told after operation would have ibs like symtpoms that would go away only they haven't and he thinks it's due to adhesions from operation. So an operation to remove said adhesions should help. Anyone dealt with this and got any good/bad stories?

Abigail, adhesions can cause many problems for people that do require surgery. Some people are more prone than others to build up scar tissue. They are done as a laproscopic surgery here so not as invasive as a open surgery. Usually, people do much better once the scar tissue is removed.

After my gallbladder was removed I started have digestive problems
I was put on Colostipol. It’s a binder for food etc. it really helped me.

I have crohns, IBS,gasrtipanis
