Hello-

Long story short, I have been told by my rheumatologist I have autoimmune hepatitis and need to see a specialist. She says it's due to my ANA, Actin sm igg, and crp being high.

The reason I'm posting on this forum is I have had diarrhea every day for over 3 months. Bloating. Minimal appetite. Some swelling in hands and feet. Tingling and feet and hands falling asleep for like 10 months.

Any ideas on what is going on??? I feel like I have the flu everyday with all the joint pain and back pain.....

Do you have any blood within your bowel movements? If you did then I'd explore the possibility of an autoimmune Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) like UC/Crohn's. If you lack any blood then it is most likely an Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

How's your blood sugar levels? Diabetics can have tingling hands/feet. Sometimes we can get a peripheral neuropathy...

Consider getting tested for celiac disease as well. Just a simple blood panel. You can have more than one AI issue. Tingling (neuropathy) is common among celiacs, along with diarrhea and bloating.

Thank you for the replies. No poop studies. I'm sure once I see the specialist for the autoimmune she will order some. I'm wondering if I need a colonoscopy. My grandmother died from colon cancer.....

I've had my hgbA1c checked multiple times and I'm not diabetic. I guess I'll have to wait and see until my appt. I'm just over it 😣

Have them check your cortisol/adrenal function as well, as this can cause a number of your symptoms.
