HI GUYS,DO PEOPLE WITH IBS GET A PAIN IN THE RIGHT SIDE IN YOUR STOMACE BEHIND YOUR HIP.MY SIS HAS CHRONS, AND ALTHOUGH THE DOC SAID I HAV IBS THEY COULDNT RULE OUT CHRONS

I get pains on both sides. Your colon actually covers both sides of your abdomen and comes up in the middle (sort of like a horseshoe). If you sister has Crohn's your chances are much greater than the average person. Have you had any tests to check for it (colonoscopy with biopsy)? Right sided pain (LRQ) is not as common as left sided pain (LLQ) in IBS. The reason right sided pain suspects Crohn's is because the most popular place for problems in Crohn's is in your ileum or terminal ileum.

IVE HAD EVERY TEST GOING,THE DOC SAID HE COULDNT FIND ANY EVIDACE OF CHRONS, AN ALL SO ANEMIC,AND AM GETTING DRY PATCHS ALL OVER MY LEGS THEY LOOK LIKE CIRCLES

Right lower abdomen can sometimes mean your apendix is having problems. But the Dr. should have already checked that.

I have been diagnosed with IBS and have right sided pain only. Been through all the testing. The GI said sometimes crohn's is a bugger to find but sooner or later, it'll show up if that's what it is
