It has been going on for over 10 years plus. I am 65. A retired nurse. Long story short. Done all the tests, taken all the meds, taken all the fiber. The pain became so acute I was sent to a pain management specialist and he gave me a shot of Botox in the right lower quadrant of my abdomen. This was 1/31/06 three days later my pain was diminished and almost gone, but even more amazing my IBS appeared to be settling down. Now through stretching exercises and ultra sound/tens combo, massage(I was taking two zelnorm a day) now if I remember to take them its maybe one a week. Still use the fiber drink. hAVE TO EXERCISE I thought if there is one like me thERE has to be thousands out there with right lower quardant pain that radiates into your butt (they would always tell me it was referred pain from my IBS). TWO DAYS AGO 6/15/06 I received a second Botox injection - started PT today. NO PAIN NO IBS tHANKS for your time Elizabeth65
