My doctor has had me on Donnatal for a couple years now. It doesn't seem to really do much for me but I am scared to go off of it because I may actually be worse off without it. Does anyone else take this med and how well does it work for you?

I think if you don't seem to feel that it is doing that much it would not hurt to go off and see maybe when you have no plans for a few days. I don't know what type of IBS you have. It would be better to talk to you Dr. about
trying something else. I have it but have not had to use it since I got it. What else do you take for your IBS?
