Hi,
Ive had IBS all my life but not diagnosed until in my 20's. Foods that get me are : ANY RED MEAT, walnuts, more than 1 cup of reg coffee, citrus fruit, & if I eat a lot of salad or raw veggies. + if my nerves are bad it acts like I ate all of the above. If I haven't had an IBS attack in a long time I can get away with eating 1 burger but it's got to be a long time since the last attack. It is weird how I can eat peanuts , almonds , turkey burger ... but not the ones mentioned above. + If Ive had an attack dairy calms it down . 1 glass of metamucel NOT ORANGE flavor works well but I take Levsin for fending off attacks or stopping one.
