In light of some member's upcoming colonoscopy preps, I thought it might be fun to review our favorite toliet paper.

I can't say that I have a favorite brand right now, really, but I will say that I recently purchased Scott brand because I had a coupon, and I have not been impressed.  The paper adheres to itself on the roll so it's nearly impossible to find the end of it in the dark so you can unroll it, and if this is what they deem "extra soft", I'd hate to see extra hard.  It's not as soft as the cheap store brand stuff my husband's been getting. 

So a thumbs down on Scott t.p.

Funny thread, Keri. I've noticed that "ultra soft" isn't always so... and that 2-ply generic store brand can be better. Personally, I like Angel Soft. But really, I just buy any 2-ply that is on sale.
I have to admit though, Huggies is my favorite wipe. :-)

I like the Target brand. Just called Premium. I have bought the same one at other stores like Longs. It has little quilted flowers on it and is super soft and usually very reasonable.

HI Keriamon!  This post gave me a smile.  A great big thanks to you for that!  I always buy Charmin - soft.  My mother, who suffers from colitis taught me the value of good toilet paper many years ago :)  Actually, Charmin has a type of tissue made with Aloe that i have bought too.  Good luck to all who are prepping for their colonscopies.

I also dont have a favorite but I find some of no name brands and quilted tp's plug your toilet! Like I dont have enough Poop to deal with on a daily basis! LOL

I use Angle Soft and generic wipes. I have crohn's and ibs and use a lot of tp.

I think I used Charmin when I was in college. Now I pretty much buy what's decent, but on sale, when it's my turn to buy. But I'll definitely be on the lookout for Charmin with aloe vera! I get that in Kleenex and noticed a big difference with my poor nose in allergy season, so I can only assume my behind would notice it too. I have been wishing someone would come out with aloe vera in toilet paper too!
