pschartist said it was my fault.

hi everyone
i haven't been able to get on here for a while computer broke. i am still having problems with my stomach. i am now on a mixture of anitdepressants and anispasmotics and painkillers to help with the pain. i still have a diagnoses of ibs. i was sent to the mental health unit how are sending me to the day unit there but they are only for courses like computer courses group theahpy. i don't actually want to go i can't really take any more time off from work as they really will sack me. just had another two weeks off as i have been in so much pain.

the mental health unit then sent me to see a pschartist who i saw on friday. he wasn't interrested in my stomach problems. he said were not here to talk about that. he then told me that it was my fault that i was like this. he told me that my firm are like they are towards me because i can't explain to them what is goping on. how can i explain it any better than i have. i told them alll about my health problems and been completely honstet. he didn't help at all he told me bascallly to stop wasting his time.

the only back though i have had is that my doctor is now sending me to see another gastrontiest for another opoinion only because i said i wasn't happy with the diagnoses and the pain is still really bad.

Oh dear..

that sounds familiar  me and my bf had that trouble   he found out after he collapsed that he had crohns  and because the doc ignored it and said it was all in his mind (despite his weight going down to 7st  he could barely move) it progressed too far and he'll only get worse  this was more than 20 years ago

and now im having the same trouble with the docs

ive given up trying to make them listen to me   i'll just wait and see

ive missed a lot of college and they're getting sick of it

im on codiene at the moment  they knock me out but they dont do that much for the pain  they just make me less aware of it  which is good 

i have the option of  fall asleep in class or be in too much pain to go in

btw  im in england  where they ignore you completly and diagnose deporession for an ingrowing toenail (!?!?!?!?) to avoid work

you get the kind words of  "sometimes people want something to be wrong with them"   Bah.

my tutor is very understanding   he has problems and has been on steroids for some time

most of the neighbors in the cul-de-sac where i live are ill

heart problems, lung problems, stomach problems (me and bf(who lives opposite me), IBS, plouracy(my mums ex), ulcerated leg, bipolarity(my sister), schizophrenia... 

i get more than enough understanding   exept from sis

bf says it must be in the water

most are on co-dydramol  im on mebeverine  which is not supoposed to have any side affects  it says if it does consult your doctor  it made it worse  went to doc  she had the bored expression that they get when i see them more than once in the same month

went there the next week  it said on the screen that the mebeverine showed improvement   i never said that

i have a very high tolerance to pain  so most of it i can ignore  though i do walk a bit strangely to avoid worsening it

when it gets so bad that i cant move  thats when i worry   it goes to my back and my right hip then spreads down my leg   vey sore, stiff and yet numbed

i have noticed that my food makes its painful journey in about 1-2 hours  sometimes theres an odd dark orangy red mucus

very pleasant

every food hurts me now  just some more than others

and ive lost a lot of weight

the doc will refer me to a psychiatrist if i go back
