Great, I learned a lot from this morning's posts and it has given me a lot of encouragement to be proactive about
my symptoms; many thanks to all of you . Going to get started with exercise, plenty of water, and probiotics followed by cooking my vegetables. I used to eat raw fruit and vegetables (salads) for fibre, which I now realise may have been a mistake, especially the lettuce which I hear is a common trigger. Not used to cooking my fruit though - what is the best method for this, and which fruits? Also please suggest some supplements that are good for fibre. Could anyone who has been cured or gone into remission from IBS please give the rest of us some pointers? Much appreciated, thanks
