Thanks Keriamon, I will add those to my exercise routine; guess I should have started that a long time back. BTW, now that I have included exercise, healthy diet, water, probiotics, etc. into my routine, the IBS symptoms have become much more manageable. The tough part is to be regular and consistent once my work routine starts again. This forum has been a great help. Thanks again to all of you.

it, this "pelvic floor" syndrome might explain why women are more prone to IBS than men.
BTW, I've noticed that my posts have the edit/delete icons on the top right hand corner whereas the others have the exclamation mark and thumbs icons - please tell me what these icons are and how I can fix mine.
