thank you Dbab for your reply.
It wasn't so much that I was saying no to further testing and more that I was clearly nervous of these being suggested and also anything more than my stomach being examined and the Doc was very aware of this, nice with it and decided it would hurt me more than decide anything for him.
I'm a bit eugh er though because by the time he had gotten around to explained how I was to take the meds ( also took my other half along) I had switched off or my mind was spinning.
All I managed to make out was that some people take 2 three times a day ( in my case might be a bit too much) and it was suggested I take one three times a day and then whenever I get spasms.
I'm just really confused as I was told to call him in three weeks if I either felt worse or had not improved as far as the spasms are concerned. How do I tell if I am taking the meds to stop them? If the spasms are eased with the tablets then he wants me to stop taking them? Isn't this defeating the object?
The spasms are not the whole of the problem I get constipated too but didn't want to become laxative dependant so he never suggested this.
What is my Doc getting at? Is he saying, try the Buscopan and if they ease the spasms stop taking them? As for the C well live with it! I get this impression. Don't get me wrong he was very sympathetic with examining me but ..confused
He did mention diet and water etc....I drink plenty of water and eat well. I mean, I have the odd 'bad' food but who doesn't?
A very confused and most probably annoying Syrup!
