I suffer from IBS-C and am trying really hard to combat it. Because of all the problems of Rx drugs I prefer not to go down that rode again and am currently taking Advantage and fiber capluses everyday (helps a little but not much). I also cut out beef (since it takes 72 hours to digest which makes things horrible for me) and I workout 30 mins six days a week.
I was wondering if cutting out all fried foods and limiting diary intake would also help? I also notice that things get a little rough if I eat ground turkey so I am probably am going to have to give that up as well.
I just feel at my wits end! I do eat cereal with whole grains and only pasta that is whole grain, but want to know what I am missing.
So I am kinda curious as to what other IBS-C suffers diets look like and outside of Rx drugs what else are they taking to manage their syptoms.
