Yes, you can refuse a doctor

An explainer article on your rights as a patient to refuse consent to have any test, surgery or examination performed on you if you do not wish it.  Unforunately, I know this has come up with people here once or twice when they were subjected to a colonoscopy without proper amounts of sedatives, even though they said stop.  It is already against the law to do that, but if this man wins his case, there will be a real precedence for patient's rights and maybe a little more caution on the part of some doctors who bully and railroad people into things they don't want done.
