has anyone taken this? My doctor gave me a prescript
ion and I googled it and am concerned about
side effects. As anyone had bad experiences with it of other anticholinergic drugs?

I like the stuff, personally. It eases any abdominal cramping I have and sometimes even has the effect of slowing down my diarrhea. Some people notice some dry mouth and/or sleepiness but I have experienced those side effects. I've tried many anti-spasmodics but had the best effects with dicyclomine!

how often did/do you take it? My doctor said 4 times a day but in the other forum someone said they only took it once a day

I've only taken it twice daily at most, but everyone reacts differently...some need more, some less. I always figure the less you can get by on, the better!
