Have you had that appointment yet?  What happened?  It is now 8 days post surgery.  I am overall feeling SOOOO much better.  The surgeon that I went to said that if I had just presented with symptoms, and not all of the testing that said everything was "normal"  she would have said it's my gallbladder & recommended that it be taken out. 

So, as I said in my last post. I had had it taken out.  In the past week I have been able to eat a hamburger, pizza, lasagna, a roast beef sandwich, ice cream... and not one of those things causes the pinching pain in the upper right rib area.  I've gained back 1 pound in the past week (I had lost 11 pounds)

I've heard everything about how after the gb is removed that everything causes you diarrhea... that hasn't really happened yet. Things have been a little softer, but not unbearable.

HI! MarathonGirl, It's PR Glo Just wanted to give you and update on me and also wanted to know how u are doing????? I had my upper endoscopy on 9/19/08 I have Barret's Esophagus . I had my esophagus stretched out and have gastritis of the stomach swollen stomach I have a scheduled colonoscopy in november. I had the Hida Scan test which showed my Gall Bladder is not functioning at all so now I have an appt with a surgeon on 10/15/08 to see if they will remove gallbladder or not as I am having excruciating pain it's worst when I lay down at night and really bad nauseau.  But any who that's my update I will keep u posted. Well I had my appt on Friday My HIDA scan says my gallbladder is functioning at 95% which sounds great.  Unfortunately I am still in pain.  My GI dr wants to do an endoscopy to biopsy for sprue. And he wants me to see the surgeon.  Im not sure what that is sounds like Celiac disease.  I had pizza just as a test. Sometimes I think I'm imagining all this.  I have been miserable since then.  Sometimes I think its just constipation so I took some fiber.  Nothing helps.  I almost went to the ER today but I cant bear to be told nothing is wrong again so I sucked it up and laid around.  The pain in my ribs is almost unbearable.  I hate this.
