Im worried i might have a bowel obstruction :/
Its hard to know if i have IBS or bowel obstruction or diverticulitis or ulcers, all diseases deem to have so similiar symptoms. My symptoms match alot to all of the abvoe diseases, yet not completely to any of them! Frustrating. I am undergoing tests but it takes a REALLY long time over here to get a colonoscopy sheduled. Bloodworks, x-rays and ultrasound has been done.
Anyway i have had constant pain on the left side of my belly, mostly in the upper abdomen and sometimes in the lower abdomen. It feels like i can feel my colon spasm and hurt, and the colon feels bloated and full of gas. It feels like there is fluid stuck inside there.... is this gas? I dont know how gas feels like, lol... My colon also gurgles CONSTANTLY. Is gurgling a sign of a obstruction? Or is gurgling part of a healing process? Or general digestion? And if i touch my hurting gurgling spot, my tummy makes splashy sounds. WEIRD.
This pain has lasted for 6 months.. i am trying to reason with myself that if it was a obstruction, i should be dead by now, i think. But i am not sure! And what if it is only a partial obstruction? Would obstructions have been seen on ultrasound or x-ray? Can anyone have a bowel obstruction for 6 months without dying?
I am so worried! Please help
