Gastritis, reason for left and rite side pain? or ibs?

After a stomach virus couple monthes back i have had chronic problems with back pain, mid back, pain in between the shoulder blades for like a week then went away, constant crampy feeling in rite side then 2 days ago is started on the left side but its much more severe, its not as much pain as in a huge discomfort, like something is empty there or there is a bulge, its just a constant feeling, constant crampy feeling, wondering if ne body else experienced this, im worried like everything else that pops up that i wont b able to shake it, i just had an endoscopy couple weeks after a colonscopy that showed gastritis, inflammation in the stomach and some sorta messed up bile secretion, wonder if this could b the cause of this pain, im 19 year old male, smoke n drink alot, tryin to cut down, any insights? this crap is ****ing with my mind and has really decreased the quality of my life

o and i suffer from pretty soft stools that are formed but will fall apart if u try to pick em up, if i do have loose stools then a get a weird constant sensation in my rectum like i need to go constantly, i have a crap load of gas that rumbles my stomach and is uncomfortable.

post infections ibs? or gastritis? any body experience similar symptoms

also their was inflammation in my small intestine showed in colonsopy so waiting for a capsule swallow test

You need to stop both drinking and smoking if you have gastritis, especially drinking. You don't need to stop forever but you should stop for a least a few weeks and see if it heals. Gastritis can lead to stomach cancer if not adressed.
