ileostomy reversal

I had an ileostomy reversal four weeks ago, I had stricture which led to the sugeon having to dilate the opening three days later. I started to go at last watery with some wind etc. Since I have been home I just keep doing small amounts but have developed a nasty pain in my left side like a stitch. The only relief is to lay on my left side until I pass a huge amount of wind which gives me some relief but it keeps coming back. Can anyone help?
