While I never have experienced the yellow bile D, from what I can gather if a person has this specific type of D, then chewable Caltrate with Vitamin D pills do wonders to bind the stool. And limit the trips to the bathroom. Look up previous posts from this member - Inape - and she'll help you in beginning this calcium regimen. I think you cut the pills in half, taking 1/2 with 1 meal, making that three half pills in a 24 hour period. Eventually working up to 3 full pills in a 24 hour period. I believe if Caltrate helps you, you need to take it for life (since you're functioning without a gall bladder).
I did try it several times but it didn't help me as much as it does those with yellow bile D.
