MY buddy is dealing with IBS (almost Crohn's) and is under pressure from his doc to have part of his bowel removed.  My sis takes LDN for her MS with amazing results.  Anyone using LDN for their bowel issues?  Tnx!

The issue here is Crohn's is an inflamatory bowel disorder and IBS is NOT. IBS does not lead to Crohn's. They would also not remove someones colon with IBS.

They have done some research on using Naltrexone in IBS with mixed resuilts I believe, if I remeber correctly.

This sounds like an inflammatory bowel problem and heance why the doctor might want to remove part of the colon if its in bad shape.

I am taking LDN for Fibro and it has really treated my IBS big time!! If you have any more questions go to facebook and do a search called IBD and LDN and there are a lot of people who have issues using LDN.. GOOD LUCK!!

I know the feeling I suffered my entire adult life with IBS.... stress related mostly then summer fruits, loved them they didnt love me.


In April of 2011 I ran across a treatment for my FIBRO and it also treated IBS. WITHIN a month my fibro pain was a lot less with just 2.5mg dose, and then in 2 months my IBS was 95% under control~~ Amazing!! I suggest you go to the yahoo boards for LDN, low dose naltrexone, its a great treatment for all autoimmune illness and MS and some cancers turn
