Well the movi -prep did taste like lemon pledge. I have this trick and anyone is welcome to it if it makes it easier getting down. I poured the movi-prep
and any kind of apple juice at the same time in a glass. It still tastes the same, but it makes it a lot easier going down to get the job done. My
colonoscopy was set for 1:50pm, but I was very anxious about the time that passed after finishing the prep the next morning. So I asked if the GI
lab had any earlier openings. So I decided upon myself to take a cab to the hospital and I made it in time to get preped. Everything turned out fine,
except the sedative didn't help a lot because I was maybe in twilight for awhile and I could feel the doctor put the tubing in my butt. I don't remember
if I felt pressure or the pain of the tubing going in. Thank goodness the doctor found only one small benign polpy in my colon and they sent it to pathology
The uncomfortable part about afterwards is that I still had movi-prep and had a loose stomach for the rest of the day and into the next day.
The sedative still made me very sleepy yesterday and today. I think I slept a good five hours today. I'm just glad it's behind me but I have to go
back for another colonoscopy in three to five years.
