super bad attack

Man, I had a pain attack yesterday that lasted 10 hours of very severe pain to the point I couldn't even move my body.

I use to get these a lot more frequently, but they do a number on mental state for sure.

Hi Shawn- I'm really sorry to hear that. Even at my worst I've never had pains lasting 10 hours!!!! Where was the pain? Was it near the gallbladder?  I hope you get relief from those episodes.

Thanks guys. You know I have had this forty years. You think somehow you would get use to it, but that pain is through the roof, even though I have effective ways to help manage it, that was one of those I would have gone to the emergency room, but I don't do that anymore. I have mthods I use while in pain that help, but still it was a bad one for sure.

I still always have the fear that a bad attack like that will come on sometimes. I seriously undertstand fear and IBS issues as well. Fear is a big trigger.

what methods did you use for your pain?  It doesn't sound like my pain is as intense as yours, but I have had pain that hasn't gone away once for over 2 years now.  It usually isn't too bad but I would say about 5 times a month I will have a really bad day as well.
