How fast should i see a diffrence when the medication start's to work?

I was prescribed mebeverine and was wondering when it will start to work and see a diffrence in the pain i am getting?

Is it instant or a few day's?

Are you taking it 3 times a day? Usually it takes a week or so to notice improvement when starting new meds.

Yeah taking it 3 time's a day... Will it rid me of the pain i get from the bowel if it work's?

Is it colicky pain that you have? Mebeverine works well for colicky, griping type pain as it is supposed to work on the smooth muscle of the bowel.
If it doesn't help, go back to your doctor and see if you can try something else.

I would describe the pain as stabby but not there all the time, also i have been getting a weird sensation in my stomach like pins and needle's.
