Vitamin B12 deficiency with IBS?

i have a b12 deficiency and was wondering if anyone else had this with IBS?

my doc just took some bloodwork testing me for diff. stomach related issues to see if this is causing it.

i never knew there was a test for IBS. weird.

anyway, if you have this - do you ever get tingly hands or feet? mine has been lately plus a few times i have woken up with a numb bottom lip (part of it) - freaked me out.

hi hazelnut, i also have the b12 deficiency and they can't really explain why (must be some absorption issue since our bodies don't make b12). i noticed some tingling in my hands right before i was diagnosed and when i get the diagnosis, it felt so relieved. i had also been forgetting a lot of things and just not myself, falling asleep everywhere and generally feeling low energy. i now take injections weekly which has helped tremendously but it's still incredibly frustrating that they can't tell me why i have this problem. please let me know if they ever give you a "good" reason!
