Lillye,
So sorry you are still experiencing pain & nausea. Nausea can really be difficult when it becomes chronic. Yes, i.b.s. can cause extreme nausea. I have had severe chronic i.b.s. for 43-years. I also passed it on to 3 of my 7-kids. I was wondering if you have tried "Phenergan" oral tabs? They help greatly for nausea, and it is in prescription form.
I had my loop ileostomy in May 2011, & I still get nauseated. Not sure why, but I still have i.b.s. I see my colon surgeon in Sept. to discuss about making my temp. ileostomy to permanent & removing rectum & large intestines + anything else that is needed.
I wish you luck & keep us posted on how your appt. goes. If you ever want to chat my email is posted on my profile in the members section. Just click on my name Serenitee.
