Hi guys, I have been an IBS sufferer for as long as I can remember, this has bring me as consequence suffer for hemorrhoids, that didn't respond well to conservative treatment, even when my bowel movements are very soft and i am not straining, most of the times I wake up feeling descent, but after I have move my bowels, my day is a mess, the rectal pain is so annoying, I can't sit, I can't stay, walk is horrible, so I recently just had one of my hemorrhoids rubber banded( I have two, the surgeon banded the most problematic one), the treatment itself was not horribly painful, I had some dull pain for the first 24 hours, so today it has been 2 days after I had the rubber band put on my hemorrhoid, and today when I went to the bathroom i saw blood in the toilet, not a lot, but enough to be noticeable, my hemorrhoids never bleed before, they were just painful, so I was wondering if it is possible that the hemorrhoid fell of so quick, just after 2 days, today after my bowel movement I felt much better than other days. But also after my bowel movement I had some strange pain that was very localized in the place where they put the rubber band, like some burning, but nothing as bad as before. So what are your experiences with the rubber band ligation for hemorrhoids? and it is possible that the hemorrhoid fell out just after two days? Or can I bleed during bowel movements and the rubber band can still be attached to the hemorrhoid? What have you guys felt when the rubber band fell? How successful was the treatment for you?
