I really need some diagnostic help on this, or just to hear if anyone has had anything similar. I've had this problem for a year and it's getting worse. I'm sick nearly every morning, several times. Often I wake up to be sick at night and sometimes I'm sick after dinner. Usually I'm only sick in the morning/night but when it gets really bad I can't keep anything down for days, even water. It's horrible and very painful.
I poo rainbows. I've had diahorrea for pretty much a year, on and off. When I don't have it I feel constipated but do weird thin bright yellow poo, and it looks like jelly instead of normal poo. It's been yellow for a few days, but it's also been orange (loads), green (a while back), and of course grey (once but OH MY GOD WHAT THE HELL IS THAT).
I'm taking 40mg omeprazole a day and 300mg ranitidine. I have tried domperidone and compazine for sickness and found them mostly useless. I'm waiting to pick up a metaclopramide script
.
I had an endoscopy that showed nothing, bloods (inc one for pancreatitis) that showed nothing, a stool test that presumably showed nothing. They did a biopsy for the endoscopy and I've been told they can't do anything else until I get that back - they now think its Celiac disease but I don't see how I would suddenly have developed an autoimmune condition that nobody in my family has - I have a major history of substance abuse, especially last year and that is what triggered it as far as I can tell.
Oh, and this one week a few weeks ago, it magically got better for a week. Out of nowhere. I started heaving after dinner so went to be sick and it just wouldn't come up from my stomach, I could feel my stomach sort of holding onto it. I did normal poo for a week too for the first time in a year. I would swear on my life there was no change of circumstance or diet or meds that would warrant it. Then it came back again. Wat.
If anyone has bothered to read this far, I honestly thank you. And if anyone could possibly have anything they think it might be, or just advice on how to deal with doctors and where to go from here it would be beyond awesome. I'm really getting desperate here, I just want to know what it could be.
