Well, my thoughts about
my tummy issues were pretty much correct. I had my colonoscopy about
well a week ago today. The only thing that was found was a small polp. According to my letter there was nothing that indicated colitus or chron's disease. My doctor suspects my d and c are IBS related. It really wasn't surprising to me because I have often wondered about
that. I was tested for celiac disease as well and that was negative. I still have a rash to deal with and he wants me to follow up with a dermatologist which I will do in a few weeks. I still think it might be gluten related because I had pizza last night. I know probably not the best choice of food I could make. Trust me I paid for it this morning. Not only did I have tummy troubles this morning after having a couple of pretty descent days but my rash which was almost gone started to bother me again. It comes and goes.
Anyway, I guess with the IBS my question to you guys that have delt with it for a while...what would your top three things be for me to start with. He recommended Immodium for days that are bad. I see him in about 6 weeks to see how things are going. I've had tummy troubles for several years now, but just recently because of the rash had it seen about. Like where should I start. I guess a lot of my eatting habits are going to have to change and that's going to be so hard. I know i shouldn't eat a lot of dairy products but I love cheese. It doesn't always like me though. I feel like I'm having an ahha moment. any tips to get started would be helpful. I never did eat a lot of donuts because once I ate one my tummy would turn on me. I never was a big ice cream eatter. I love cheese and bread and pasta's and steaks potatoes. Siiiigggh I like yogart though only yoplait or okio yogart. I can still have trouble with that though. I worry about it because I have low calcium count. I always have. So how the dickens am I supposed to get my calcium in espcially when caltrate and things like that bother my stomach.
