Gall Bladder surgery

I had my gall bladder removed several years ago and I am trying to find out if they removed my appendix as well.  I have been having some issues with my side and stomach hurting.  I was in the hospital earlier this year and they said it was my pancreas but because I do not have my gall bladder it is unusual they say.  I am confused and wonder if I still have my appendix.  Does anyone have any information?  Some people tell me that when you have your gall bladder removed they remove your appendix too?  I am so scared and frustrated that I do not know this about my own body.

they did do laproscopic surgery. I called the hospital. It is in another state and I have to have the form completed. I wonder if my pancreas could hurt on that side as well. Today I have been watching my intake. the only thing I have had that might not be good for me is sweet tea. I have just spent too much time in the hospital this year, not to have any answers. They ruled out my heart be doing a series of blood work and a nuclear stress test and as soon as my pancreas levels are back to normal they send me home. I just wish I knew if this pain in my side is related to my pancreas and if so what can I do to make it better.

it is on the right side. I cannot seem to get a family practioner to see me without a couple hundred dollars and unfortunately I do not have that kind of money. I am at a weird place I make too much to qualify for public assistance but not nearly enough to afford health insurance especially with preexisting conditions. I either have to have cash or go through the er and it is too expensive to go to the er every time you have a pain. I am actually feeling better today and also wonder if it could be muscle related because I have just recently started riding a bike. I still have flare ups with my pancreas but as soon as I sense it is coming on I go to straight liquids for a couple of days and it usually eases up.
