Hi there.. Here's my problem..
I have been suffering with ibs for years and I wondered if anyone else feels this way just so I now it's normal..
I have abdominal pain constantly, back ache and nausea and often find myself sat on the loo for over half an hour and just pass wind. I never feel like I'm finished wen I go to the toilet and hadnt been now for about 2 weeks. I went to my doctor and was given movicol which I was told to take 4 on the first day and 2 daily until its passed.. It's been 5 days now and my belly is bubbling I'm scared to pass wind unless I'm on the loo.. The stool is very soft almost watery but still won't come out its as if my rectum has narrowed and I'm having to push really hard to make anything come out.. And now my piles have come bk with avengance and are bleeding which is making it even harder to go. My stomach is bloated and hurts to wear anything tight.. My stomach aches when I eat so I'm eating less although I'm feeling constantly hungry..

I think so yes and took the reccomended dose to clear it but am still struggling..
Think I'm goin to go bk to the doctors and ask for this stuff I took before my last colposcopy.. Cleaned it all out lol.. Its like I need to go but I don't get the urge to push feeling anymore so I'm forcing it.. Makin myself very uncomfortable...
Does anyone else not have the urge to push feeling?

I dont think I can give you any quick cure or even give you good advice. I am 68 years old and have intestine damage from radiation treatment for prostate cancer. I am left with what the doctors call "IBS" In my opinion and from what I have read from other sufferers, IBS is what the doctors call "I dont know" They do all the test and cant find whats wrong. We all suffer from either diahrear (spelling) or constipation, we are not sure what foods to eat because for some of us its good while for others it triggers off something. The only comfort I can give you is the you are not alone. We all feel at one time or another "I cant take this anymore. Its hard to go on holidays, hard to go to restraunts, and many other things.......I can symperthize with you and all other sufferers. If I could give you a hug I would and tell you to thank your lucky stars and think of the good things still in life and dont let it get you too down.....kisses and hugs
