Mucusy discharge after I'm done having a bowel movement!

I am at a loss...I have tried it all...every test known to man and nothing! Please help!!! I had a case of food poisoning 4 months ago from really doughy heavy pizza....ever since then I have had so many symptoms which some of went away except ONE! I have this mucusy discharge that I have to pass in the morning and then at night after I am done having my bowel movements for the day. It is like a barrier that I need to push through in order to pass gas night or even have my first bowel movement in the morning! No one seems to know what this is or why I never had this my whole life and now I have it after I got sick like that! Please please please someone help me...it is ruling my every thought and slowly making me nuts! Can anyone help!?!?!

I think you should take it to the doctor. Pass the mucous material into a clean large container that has a lid. Then take it to the doctor and tell him you want to know why you pass this twice a day. He/she can send it for testing at the lab.

I have the SAME thIng !! ????? In AM and PM it starts , can't pass gas w/o being scared liquId/mucus may accompany it. Or like u said before a BM and soMe after .....
Let us know if u give a sample to your doctor !!!??

OMG I can't believe someone else has this!!! When did yours start SS0000? Did you get sick like me too? What is your plan on getting rid of it? Anything lined up?

well I have ulcerative colitis and it flared up really bad then I got better then I started having what I told u earlier !!! I don't know ????? The dr says inflammation. But the mucus is a common thread between UC and IBS so not sure ...
I don't know what to do. ANNOYING though !!! I've heard somethings about slippery elm and its effects with mucousal lining (?) Or something. Let's reserch it.
I take a 1/2immodium in am and pm to try and slow the colon up a bit and let the "liqiud" get used with the bm's. Its seems to help a little. What's is your diet like ?? Let's see if we have a commmon link ??
Maybe it is inflammationor a bacteria inbalance as foodpoising can cause that. And so can my ulcerative colitis
Also Do u take probitics ?
