I'm new to this website. just recently been considering what my issue is. I'm a currently Hospital Corpsman in the Us Navy, and deal in Same Day Surgery. Recently had two patients with Stomach cancers that I was taking care of and made me think of My problem. Now to explain my problem.
For the past 4-5 years I've had stomach pains, only 1-4 times a week. Below my navel but not designated to just one side, moreso about 5 inchs from the center of my navel to each side. These stomach pains, to me, seem random, I've felt thought that sometimes it happens after I have breakfast in the morning, so maybe its milk, but its not always. Other times its after I have a cigerette, but not always(I've already quit smoking for 4 months now) But I still have the pain, Sometimes It just happens for no apparent reason, the most recent time I was working all night, and got up to walk to a differently clinic and the pain had suddenly come on, Its always a severe pain the keels my stomach that is hard to fight if I'm walking when It happens. Everytime It does happen, though, I do need to use the bathroom and have softer stool then usual, Normally I'm in the bathroom for 10-15 minutes with this pain, sometimes I feel like its gone, get up, and 5 minutes later It comes back again. I've gone to Docs before but they never gave me CT scans. I was diagnosed with GERD and prescirbed Nexium to take daily, doesn't work, I don't even have heart burn, just acid reflux slightly. After researching, couldn't find anything out about the pains in my stomach, So makes me think it is something else. Please give me any kind of history you may have had that was similar for me to put out there to my Doc when I see him next, So I can get it all checked out to see if I can get it taken care of.
Thank you,
Carrington
