I guess I should start with a little background. I'm a 34 year old male, not really in the greatest of shape, a smoker and extremely addicted to mountain dew.
For the past few weeks I've been feeling bloated, I don't swell or anything but just feeling like there is a ball in my gut some where. I don't notice it much unless I'm sitting, which I spend most of my days at my computer so I'm sitting quite a lot. Prior to this starting I noticed my bowel movements had become thinner, not pencil thin but thinner. I have a lot of gas after a BM as well. I know I do have an internal hemorrhoid and I have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and agoraphobia. Did some checking into family history and there isn't anyone that I know of in the past that I have found that had been diagnosed with colon cancer.
When I was younger I had a lot of problems with being constipated, to the point where I had to take a laxative to go to the bathroom on a regular basis, I some how got over all of that and thought I was "normal" and now this happens. I'm terrified of doctors and my agoraphobia doesn't help getting there in the least bit!
I guess my question is is there any one else out there who has or had these symptoms? I don't think I would be so afraid but my wife was just diagnosed with leukemia and if I have some kind of problem its not going to be any easier on her and I really don't want her to be anymore worried and upset than she already is.
