loose stool every morning

Ok im a 53 yr old male in very good physical condition...I workout cardio and weight every day of the week. I eat a BIG salad with red leaf romaine lettuce everyday, olive oil and ving and a protein...chicken,turkey,fish etc...I eat lots of nuts cashews and pistashios everyday as a snack..I drink a glass of red wine and some crackers every night 3 hrs before bed.
I had a colonoscopy 2 yrs ago, all clear...now for the last couple months I have a very loose normal color stool every morning...when I get up I really have to go them im fine for the rest of the day..
I did have Cdiff several yrs ago and was tested for that this week and its negitive..they are now doing a culture should know tomorrow...
Other than that I fell great....ideas ? I eat very little dairy products

There can be so many possible causes why you are experiencing this. Do you drink coffee in the mornings? If so, maybe this is contributing to the looser stool?

no pain...been to Canada in November for a week but my wife was too and she doesnt have any issues...I was on Doxycline a while back this summer for a possible prostate infection but again I was tested for cdiff
it was negitive

Then I recommend you keep a food diary. Record everything you eat in a notebook and when you go to the bathroom; what happens. But keep in mind that food takes 24-72 hours to go thru your system. You might find a food culprit in there somewhere. Record EVERYTHING...even if it's a piece of gum. You might have developed a food intolerance, which can occur at any given time regardless of past history. But by recording everything in a notebook, you might be able to find a common food that is giving you grief. It's a bit tedious but sometimes it can really help.
