My daughter went in for a scope and hers came out good except for small hemmies. She also has bright red blood on occasion from her hemmies. Bright red blood indicates fresh bleeding and is closer to the rectum. So your hemmies could very well be causing your bleeding. My daughter was also not put on any meds and was told to increase her fiber intake. Increased fiber can help stop the blood and reduce the hemmies.
If you are not having any other intestinal issues, stick with the high fiber diet for a while and see if it helps. But if you are having other issues, you need a colonoscopy.
