For the women on here/Perimenopause and sudden constipation issues

I am usually always loose but since I turned 50 and am in perimenopause i am constipated now most of the time. It is constipation first for the most part and then it will be loose right after. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but my lower back gets pains/cramps with it too. Just wondering if this is the normal part of aging/peri since it is sudden.

I'm not there yet but my MIL has this issue. She gets constipated now and has been sporadic like you since she hit menopause.

I'm not sure about the back pain, but the next time you see your dr, you should ask about it.
