Lap chole newbie

Hi. I'm a healthy female b/w ages 18 and 25. So short story is I had my first child in late 2011 and was nauseated the entire time and they blew it off as bad morning sickness. I also had bad heartburn, but again said it was baby related. Well they both never went away after delivery and about a month ago, a dr decided to check my gallbladder and it was working at 17%, but had no stones. Anyways, they took out out this past thursday (now about 55hrs post-op). I'm not really hurting much around the incisions, but I've got horrible pain in my chest, back, and shoulders. I assume it's from trapped air. I've walked, used cold and hot packs, drank hot peppermint and chamomile teas, massaged, done yoga, etc and it still hurts like a b**ch. I even get lightheaded when it gets bad and my arms get weak. I just wanted to make sure this is normal?? Is there anything else hi can do to help it pass? When will it pass? My dr wasnt very clear on what to expect at home.
Also, I've picked up a bad productive chest cough. I got it late after my first night post-op. Could this affect my chole healing and could it be related or just bad luck? I'm scared my coughing will rip my stitches or something.

In case it makes any difference, I'm only taking otc tylenol every 4hrs for pain, no prescription pain relief or meds by choice. I've had no heartburn or nausea thus far in recovery. Thanks!
