IBS-C and lower left pain

Hello

I have IBS C and pain in the lower left area of my belly. I have had this pain for years. Went for a sonogram but they couldn't see anything because of "abnormal bowel gas" which is a whole other story!
Just wondering if I should be very concerned or if its just from the C.
I have no health insurance at the moment. I'm going to possibly apply for medicaid.
I also had foot surgery on the left side. A bulging disc in my lower back L5 and sciatcia. Could the C cause a disc to bulge? Has anyone had any of these issues?
