extreme left side pain

I am just wondering, I have been dealing with this for seven years, and the last four years I have been having extreme lower left side pain... Some days are better than others but I get a horrible pain in my lower left side, feels as if someone is squeezing something on the inside of me, or like they wrapped a twisty tie around something, its just this sharp pressure feeling. It gets extremely worse if I get the D, it cramps up so bad to the point I scream, and almost pass out from the pain until the poo gets past a certain point.. I am just wondering if anyone else has experienced this??

Sounds like Diverticulitis or lotis, I have that, its basically a pouch of inflammation in the colon, usually towards the bottom left. Its treatable but not curable and you need a colonoscopy to diagnose. Hope that helps :}
