Hi folks,
I was hoping you could help me. All of a sudden, when put on questran for an infected gall bladder, my face and knew - which were blemish free irrelevant of my atypical female carelessness with it, is now all broken out. My facialist says it looks like oil trapped under the skin; my face has been as dry as the sahara the past three years. Could it be questran? And if so, can I replace that with anything else? (So two questions.) Without it, I am always running to the bathroom and have all kinds of large intestinal, so to speak and be polite, issues. On it, I am fine. I take one scoop per day.
I have severe IBS - never constipation. For that I take 6 lomotil a day and 5 librax. Sometimes 1/2 mg of xanax. Had this since a kid...thanks God for immodium, which got me through my 20's like a normal woman.
I have panic attacks in small, hot places - I have 1mg of xanax as needed. I avoid it.
I have severe chronic sad - I take antidepressants heavily in the fall and winter...I am depressed all year long but summer is far better... prozac, zyprexa, and wellbutrin.
I have severe migraines, and am on a med to supposedly prevent them and a string for when I do get them - always related to a stressful event, before or after, or pms.
I am 44 and female.
I do not know if it is rosacea, but it started just when questran did. My facialist can't figure out the day to night change..I neglect myself and my skin never breaks out at all. Now, no makeup and retin-A - with or without, lookout.
Needless to say, I am miserable....
So, could it be questran, and is there a replacement? I can drink it unless I have a bad migraine....they don't go together. I puked it. Every other time, I have no prob swallowing it. PLEASE HELP! I look like a teenager with bad acne!!!
Sincerely,
a woman who thought walternate was funny - lol
