Why can't I stay away from Dr Google?

I've keyed in my symptom of intermittent loose stools and of course was linked to the colon cancer website. Now I'm
convinced I have colon cancer. My doctor has never recommended a colonoscopy probably because he knows I'd freak out. I've been diagnosed with ibs for many years. I have no reason to think I have cancer other than my intermittent loose stools which are now made worse with anxiety. I'm a mess right now.
