Fistulotomy with Cutting Seton

Hi friends

I am a new user. I was going thru internet and found this website. Lot of information.
Hope here someone can help me. I had Fistulotomy with cuttin seton in jul its 5 weeks now i had my first seton tightening last friday and i didn't feel anything when he was doing it as i took some painkiller before going to my CRS but after few hrs it was hell. I can still feel the pain even after 5 days, today it hurt when i had my BM.
Is this normal
did anyone have success with cutting seton does it hurt when it falls off andi would u know i have my second tightening next week. So scared now
