Dear Marsky,
I saw under a different thread that you were dx twelve years go with Rectal CC. I recently underwent a right-hemi-colectomy back in May of this year. My gallbladder was removed a year prior. I had a Tubulovillous adenoma with high grade dysplasia. The surgeon removed 12 inches and 27 lymph nodes that were non-malignant. Up till a couple of weeks ago, I was coasting along regarding digestive issues and then started with the immediate diahrrea.
I am always scared to death that another growth is popping up as I am typing this. Since it has been so long since you had your resection, have you been suffering with bile salt diahrrea.
Also, you mentioned you have had clean scopes which is great. Have you ever had anyone explain to you if polyps are slow growers and that it will be alright to wait a year until my next colonoscopy?
I do not know how to combat this new diahrrea situation. Any input would be so much appreciated. I am feeling so depressed and alone right now...not knowing how to rectify this and always thinking it is some type of cancer returning. Your input would be very welcomed. I'm hoping to hear from you.
Thanks in advance
Laurie
