Hi there. Your anxiety and stress is not going to help your IBS and likely to make it much worse. Occasional flat stools do not sound worrisome to me. If you are not already taking any, you should be taking fiber pills like metamucil or citrucel, which will help you be more regular. Probiotics may help too. You also might consider yoga, or meditation, or cognitive behavioral therapy to help you find ways to manage your stress and divert your attention away from your bowels. Good luck and try not to worry
