about 5 months ago I started to get really sick, I went from being a fully health individual working out 3 days a week and healthy healthy to being extremely exhausted and getting ALL sort of abdominal pain, breathe problem, fatigue, brain fog, difficulty breathing, joint pain, and so much more.
Initially I saw my doctor who told me it could be Gluten Intolerance, he never even brought up the word celiac. I then spent a great 2 months and half focusing and living like a Celiac, he never thought good to give me a real diagnosis, he wrote me a piece of paper with the few things to avoid containing gluten and sent me home.
During that time I was avoiding gluten like the plague, calling all the company and looking at every product label to make 100% sure there was no cross-contamination despite this I saw my health decline more and more everyday I could clearly tell that celiac wasn't my problem.
I then saw new doctors as mine stopped for health reasons and I got blood tested, the results found no anemia, I have very high vitamin B12 and Iron in the healthy range. I still kept on the gluten free diet and received various test including a Barium Test for stomach and colon as well as abdominal ultrasound which all revealed nothing. Then another doctor decided to actually get me tested for Celiac which I should get the results tomorrow, so I had to eat gluten again, at that time my pain was at the WORST even before eating the gluten, I couldn't stand eating ANYTHING everything would hurt so bad even water. I was suffering from MAJOR constipation, this was 2 weeks ago.
Then I found relief from a complete diet change, no more constipation and so much less spasms, I tried a ton of different diet because was worked would stop working now I found something that works, I found its not gluten that was upsetting me. I have been eating barley since 2 weeks and feel so much better. Many things are giving me symptoms, every food such as flour/starch/chicken/beef/egg/cereal/rice/oat/coffee/chocolate/any type of butter (nuts soy, sunflower, nutella) and some fruits and veggies.
I have yet to receive any official diagnosis but I believe I suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Irritated bowel syndrome D/Major case of Food intolerance and possible Thyroid disorder and sleep disorder. My question is regarding my abdominal cramps, could it all be from Irritated bowel syndrome or could something else cause this? The reason I am asking this is since I changed my diet, the spasms where GONE or almost inexistent (I had about 4 different kind of spasms), my cramps where much rarer and my bloating was also so much better, I was able to finally eat 5 meals a day again for the first time in months. Over the last months I I lost 15 pounds because I was always so bloated and constipated and eating would hurt so much that I would avoid it despite being so hungry all the time, I had to avoid eating for 24hours sometime because I was so bloated, worse trigger would be peanut butter.
The last week I doing very good until today where I tried to smoke weed again and boom, all the spasms are back, even 5 hours after smoking, I also ate a cookie made of wheat but this would usually not give me any spasm just some moderate uncomfort. The spasms from the weed are by far the worst, but the question is, I had those same spasms before without having to smoke, so do you think all those spasms are cause from irritated bowel syndrome? I have so many type of intestinal pains it's insane. I feel cutting weed and adhering to my diet 100% would most likely get rid of the spasms.
Mind you, I will be keeping a eye on weed and see if it really is the weed or just the diet, any insight is welcome.
