(No Subject)

Hi I am a 54 year old women just diagnosed with intestinal malrotation....they say I need to have surgery but I have no idea of a doctor that has done this procedure. Does anyone know of a doctor in Michigan that has done this type of surgery and what his success rate is. Thank you.

Who is "they"? Do you have a gastroenterologist? If so, start there. If not ask for a recommendation from your family doc. Where about MI are you? If you're near Detroit, Beaumont of Royal Oak has a great reputation for their surgeons. So does U of M in Ann Arbor. I'm from MI too btw.
