IBS or something else?

I have been having alternating diarrhea and loose stool for 6 months now along with excess gas, fatigue, a lot of mucus in my diarrhea, and my diarrhea is always like a yellowish mustard color, and irregular periods. I went to a gastroenterologist and he did blood work checking for thyroid and also had me do a stool
test and everything came back normal. Then, he did a colonoscopy and endoscopy and he said there was inflammation but he took 20 biopsies and all came back normal so he thinks the inflammation was from the clean out. After that I had an MRI done looking at the small intestine and it came back normal. Now my question is, could it be gallbladder dysfunction or something else? Or does it sound like plain IBS.

What did the GI say? Did he say you had IBS? If you think you may have a gallbladder issue, then discuss it with your GP and see if he agrees and orders testing.

The doctor has not diagnosed me with IBS or anything yet. I called his nurse today and she said she would discuss with him about putting a test in for me to have a HIDA scan done.
